About This Pathway
The Restoring Hope Media Seminary Pathway is a unique academic option for students in biblical counseling, theology, ministry, certificates, and degree programs through Restoring Hope School of Biblical Counseling. This pathway allows approved students to complete much of their coursework through podcast episodes, video lessons, expert interviews, oral defenses, public theology teaching, and ministry training videos.
This pathway is designed for students who are called to teach, counsel, disciple, communicate, and serve the Church through public biblical education.
Students do not simply "make videos." Each media submission must be supported by academic and biblical references, theological reflection, Scripture engagement, ministry application, and faculty review. Students also submit companion documents with outlines, transcripts, bibliographies, learning objectives, and reflection on the limitations of their work.

Present theological content for church, ministry, or discipleship audiences.
Oral Defenses
Present and defend your academic work in recorded oral examination format.
Ministry Training Videos
Produce training content with full academic companion documents and bibliography.
Every Submission Has Two Parts
Academic integrity is non-negotiable. Media submissions and written companion documents always go together.
Part 1: Media Recording

- •Scripture foundation and theological application
- •Ministry context and audience awareness
- •Opening student identification statement
- •Submitted privately to LMS for faculty review
Part 2: Academic Companion Document
- •Outline or full transcript
- •Annotated bibliography with course sources
- •Learning objectives and Scripture references
- •Reflection on limitations of the work
- •AI disclosure and media consent form
RHM YouTube Channel Publication
Select student work may be approved for publication on the Restoring Hope Ministries YouTube channel. Videos are first reviewed privately by instructors and advisors for academic quality, biblical accuracy, theological clarity, ethical care, and public suitability.
Publication is not guaranteed. RHM/RHSBC reserves the right to approve, revise, hold, archive, remove, or decline publication of any student submission.
The Purpose of This Pathway
"The purpose of this pathway is not performance or perfection. The purpose is humble formation."
Students are invited to wrestle with God's Word, grow in biblical wisdom, develop public teaching skill, and learn to communicate theology and biblical counseling with humility, courage, and care.

Certificate in Ministry Podcasting & Biblical Media Communication
Students who complete at least 30 credits in this pathway may become eligible for this specialized certificate — recognizing formation in biblical media, public theology, and ministry communication.
