Hurting people need more than advice.
They need wise care.
This course is not designed to produce casual advice-givers. It is designed to form humble, disciplined, Scripture-saturated helpers who understand that intervention is not merely "saying the right verse," but entering another person's suffering with wisdom, patience, truth, love, and reverence before Christ.
Core Course Conviction
Biblical counseling interventions are not techniques detached from theology. Every intervention carries an anthropology, a doctrine of suffering, a doctrine of sin, a doctrine of change, and a doctrine of God.
The shallow question:
"What should I say?"
The formative question:
"What is happening in this person before God, within story, within desire, within fear, within shame, within habit, within worship?"
