Why a Biblical Ethics Board?

Some have said, "We have the Bible; we don't need ethics." RHM humbly affirms the opposite: because God has spoken, we must practice ethics. Scripture calls leaders to wisdom, humility, and accountability (Proverbs 11:14; James 3:1; Galatians 6:1). Ethical guidelines help us apply God's Word in concrete policies—protecting the vulnerable, honoring governing authorities (Romans 13:1), and guarding the reputation of Christ.

We are all sinners in need of grace—so we build guardrails, not loopholes.

Biblical counseling is ministry, not clinical therapy—so we clarify scope and referral.

Churches must be safe places—so we practice safeguarding and clear consent.
