Biblical counseling helps counselees bring pain, fear, shame, anger, confusion, and suffering into the light of God's truth and mercy — at a pace that honors the person's experience.
Common Trauma-Related Concerns
Safety and Referral
RHM takes safety seriously. If there is active danger, abuse, self-harm risk, medical crisis, or legal concern, additional support may be needed.
Biblical counseling should never prevent someone from seeking emergency help, medical care, lawful protection, or licensed clinical support when needed. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
Hope in Christ
The gospel does not erase the reality of suffering, but it gives hope in the middle of it. Jesus is gentle with the broken, near to the crushed, and faithful to redeem.
