Addiction is not simply a bad habit or a brain disease — though it has neurological dimensions. At RHM, we believe addiction involves disordered desire, unmet need, deep pain, and broken relationship with God and others.
Lasting freedom requires addressing the whole person: the spiritual longing beneath the addiction, the trauma that may fuel it, the brain patterns that entrench it, and the community of accountability that sustains recovery.
Addiction & Recovery Services at RHM
Biblical Counseling
One-on-one sessions addressing the spiritual, emotional, and relational dimensions of addiction and recovery.
AODA Assessment — $225
Full ASAM assessment, SBIRT, clinical interview, and psychological screening tools. Case manager assigned.
Recovery Group Counseling
Faith-based groups: Stepping into Freedom, Walking in Freedom, Concerned Persons for families.
Neurofeedback
Evidence-based brain training for addiction, PTSD, and co-occurring concerns. $125/session with scholarship options.
Concerned Persons Support
Dedicated support for family members, spouses, and friends affected by a loved one's substance use.
Pastoral Care & Spiritual Direction
Christ-centered pastoral presence for those in recovery — addressing shame, identity, purpose, and faith.

Biblical and pastoral counseling at RHM is distinct from licensed clinical mental health treatment. Licensed services are available through Mark Hufen, LPC, SAC, where clinically appropriate. We will always be transparent about scope of care and refer to licensed providers when needed.
